I got some hammer from rurik twice called a swamp club...looks like a ram's hammer though.
Oddly enough I also have a "war hammer" with the ram's hammer look.
Personally, I like twin hammers.

1. Twin Hammer
2. Maul
3. Summit Hammer (i think that is the name, the one that looks like a piece of rock with straps around it)

I love the look of twin hammers and they are a lot cheaper than mursaats (bought a 15>50 req 8 for 100k)
I like the detailing of mursaat hammers, just not the design (candle holder) plus they are way overpriced

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a purple or gold ball hammer either.
It's like the anti-crystalline sword.
Although I kind of like giant slayers hammers. I think the longest title for any weapon is "Sundering Giant Slayers Hammer of Hammer Mastery"... It takes up like a third of my screen width when I hover over it.

Fellblade is the biggest sword in the game.
What is the biggest shield?
What is the biggest axe?
What is the biggest hammer?

Biggest Shield = Defender/Tower probably... They are a damn ugly wall.
Biggest Axe = Definitely a Tribal Axe. Sephis is a close second.
Biggest Hammer = Mursaat's are huge and ugly imho.

I'd have to say biggest shield is the Aegis/Shield of the Wing. Those things are huge.
And the wingblade would be the largest sword type. It's about as big as the longsword except wider.

I actually dont like hammers. I like axes and swords, but swords aren't good against ppl. Anyway that was offtopic my favorite hammer would be...
spikey war hammer
aren't runic hammers and righteous mauls the same?

No, Runic Hammers are pretty plain looking while Righteous mauls have an octagonal look with ruby-like red dots in each side of them

Both Tower shield and Shield of Wings/Aegis are patterned after Roman legionnaire shields. That's why both types are huge, meant for use with a formation (like a turtle one against arrows).
As for hammers, Mursaat and spiny warhammers are hot game items, but make little military sense. Those long sharp spines look menacing but can break easily in a real-life combat against tough armors, which is why in history most military hammerers use either square or spiked ball hammer.
